Ukraine and Iran agreed to develop bilateral cooperation after 11-year hiatus
On Monday, 7 March, Ukraine and Iran signed a Memorandum, which defines areas of cooperation between the two countries. The document was signed in Tehran following the meeting of the intergovernmental Commission on trade and economic cooperation.
Signed a Memorandum of cooperation will be the basis for the resumption of bilateral cooperation after 11-year break, said Deputy Prime Minister Gennady Zubko.
The parties agreed to develop cooperation in agriculture, energy, aircraft, transportation, financial industries, and in metallurgy, machine building and other branches of the economy.

As noted in the Ministry of economic development and trade of Ukraine, the Iran - promising partner of Ukraine. Now there will be a trade mission of business circles in Iran, the first of which is to be held within the next three months, said the Ministry. It is also about the signing of another Memorandum on deepening investment cooperation.
