For this installation, the artist chose three colors of a traffic light
7 Nov at 18:00 will present a temporary installation by the Iranian artist Mahmoud bakhshi "Endless celebration of the (Endless Celebration)" at the former site of the Lenin monument on Taras Shevchenko Boulevard in Kiev.
The installation "Endless celebration" Mahmoud Bakshi is an ironic comment on the third-party observer to the historical moment in which is now Ukraine. The artist developed this project as an attempt to visually articulate the historical choice made by the Ukrainians when they removed the monument to Lenin from his seat.
For this installation, Mahmoud Bakshi chose three colors of the traffic light to with red to show the impossibility of a return to the past. Green and yellow, in turn, demonstrate possible ways forward.
